BEING PROACTIVE – NOT REACTIVE– TO SAFETY IN LONDON
COMMUNITY EDUCATION
As well as helping the community through our neighbourhood patrols and 24-hour hotline, London Shomrim helps local residents to stay safe and protect themselves in their homes and on the streets, through community education and raising awareness.
Our preventative work is accomplished through multiple venues, including:
Distributing our annual safety guide to local households
Material is presented in English, Yiddish, Hebrew, Russian and other languages, to ensure everyone has up-to-date information and can understand how to protect themselves from the varying criminal tactics and different dangers around us.
In summary, Shomrim is continuously expanding its operations to improve the overall quality of communal life.
